We are all Maryam II Conference 16/10/2021 - 17/10/2021

Themed Maryams of Al-Quds are the inextinguishable lamps

Conference Motivations

The idea of holding a conference for the We Are All Maryam International Forum came after the campaign that the forum launches on the first of March annually which coincides with the International Women's Day, when the whole world stands against the oppression and injustice suffered by the women of the world.

What injustice is worse than what the occupation authorities practice against women of al-Quds; a demolished house, a looted mosque, the arrest of children and martyrdom of husbands and the result is a woman without a home or a support!!

From here, the administration of the We Are All Maryam Forum decided to bring together human rights institutions and associations, media professionals, and legal personalities from all countries of the world to witness the suffering of women of- Al-Quds through a program that shows all forms of oppression and violence to which they are exposed, as well as ways to support them.

Second: The Idea of the Conference

The We are all Maryam II Conference focused on the issue of demolishing the homes of people of Al-Quds which gather extended families in one house, and are demolished in retaliation against its owners because their residents defend their mosque and protect their homes and neighborhoods. The focus of the main program was “My Home in al-Quds”, a campaign that ignited social media platforms to draw the attention to the extent of the suffering, pain, and injustice against women, as well as the extent of the world's disregard for her cause and failure to support them.

• Spreading the idea of We are all Mary on a large scale, especially among activists, media professionals, human rights organizations and legal personalities across the world, and gaining the largest number of supporters for women's issues.

• Presenting the issue of demolishing the homes of people in al-Quds and focusing on the fact that the first affected by the issue is the woman and her children who sleep in the open air, without security or shelter.

• Stating the role of the media and the mechanisms of dealing with social media platforms in spreading the idea of We are all Maryam and the suffering of women globally.

• Supporting women whose homes were demolished financially by collecting donations

Offering support projects aimed at empowering women and ensuring their sustainable support.
